About the farm

On the edges of Guatape reservoir, east of Medellin lies the small town of El Peñol, namesake of the tourist attraction monolith it lies close to.

One hundred and fifty farmers contribute overall to this district coffee, each owning on average 0.2 to 2 hectares as coffee or around 200 to 2000 trees.

Smallholders can deliver dry, wet, or humid parchment, to collection manager Sonia Osorio. She receives coffee from the farmers on market day, drying the cherry if necessary and providing initial quality checks.

About the coffee

Our standard bags are filled with 240g of coffee. We recommend storing your coffee in an airtight container, not in the fridge. Once opened, consume within 2-3 weeks.
