Our Costa Rica Hermosa coffee; packed full of citrus and chocolate flavours.
Working closely with the UK's best artisan roasters, who pay directly to the coffee farmers, means we can ensure you get only the best and most unique coffee from around the world, and our Costa Rica Hermosa coffee is no exception.
About the farm-
Harvested between November and March, this is a semi-washed bean, that means the pulp is left on, only taking off the skin and letting what remains dry in the sun. This usually adds more of the cherries sweetness to the bean and lends a sweeter and more fruitful flavor to the end cup.
Tarrazu is one of the main speciality coffee regions in Costa Rica. This particular coffee, by the Co-operative Cafecoop R.L., is comprised of around 800 farms. The cooperative, is committed to becoming sustainable: through aiming to become carbon neutral and ensuring individual farmers get a fair price for their beans.
